Judson Adams “Memphis”, 43, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and best friend, passed away January 20, 2026, in Gonzales, Louisiana.
Judson was born in Houston, Texas, on March 21, 1982. He lived in New Orleans, Memphis, and Gonzales. He met his high school sweetheart and best friend, Stephanie Carol Adams, on September 2, 1997. They married July 27, 2012. Together they raised two sons, Jakob Bryan Adams, and Jayden Michael Adams.
Judson worked as a General Superintendent for Cooper Consolidated. He loved LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football, fishing, roller skating, darts, dancing, and all types of music. He had a natural gift for making people laugh, finding joy in the little things, and living life to the fullest.
Judson was the son of the late Shannon Lee Krouse. He is preceded in death by dear friend Dut Raines, and survived by his wife Stephanie Carol Adams; sons Jakob Bryan Adams and Jayden Michael Adams; mother-in-law Pleshia Butler Wing; sisters Amanda Gayle Adams and Rebecca Simonne Howard (Heather); nieces Amelia Adams, Arianna Freeman, and Annalee Butler; nephew Malakai Freeman; and lifelong friend and right-hand-man Patrick J. Creel.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Judson's life Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, Gonzales, LA. Family visitation begins at 10 a.m., friend visitation at 11 a.m., with the service at 12 p.m., officiated by Bro. Charles Ross of Ascension Baptist Temple. Guests are encouraged to wear LSU attire in honor of Judson’s love for LSU football.
