Joseph Lanoux

Joseph E. Lanoux Jr. passed away surrounded by his family at home on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 1:02 am. He was a native of Gonzales, LA and was 90 years old. He was a member of IBEW Local 995 in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 2657. Viewing at Ascension Funeral Home on Tuesday April 13, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church at 11:00 am, Celebrated by Fr. Eric V. Gyan, entombment in Hope Haven Garden of Memory. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Harris and husband Larry, Tina Braud and husband Craig; son, Danny J. Lanoux and wife Bonnie; sister, Joann Slosar; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife, Betty Foret Lanoux; daughter, Penny Lanoux; parents, father, Joseph E. Sr., and mother, Lena Lamendola.
