John Nolan Guedry, Sr.

John Nolan Guedry, Sr. passed away at 3:10 pm on Monday, September    27, 2021, at home in St. Amant, LA. He was 84 years old and a native of Ascension Parish. He was a retired salesman with Scott Equipment Co. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home at 426 W. New River Street in Gonzales, LA on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visiting on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am, entombment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by a daughter Paula Gros and husband Raymond; two sons, John Nolan Guedry, Jr. and wife Edie, and Dale J. Guedry and wife Eva; two sisters, Mae Doris Guidry, and Eva Mae Sealy; two brothers, Ronald Paul Guedry and Patrick Joseph Guedry; ten grandchildren, Robin Deeden and husband, Justin, Dale Guedry Jr., Darren Guedry, and wife, Kristi; Justin Sealy, Rachel Pallais and husband, Javier, Jeffrey Sealy, Tray Haydel and wife, Hollie, Hunter Haydel, Shelly Landry and husband, Steve, and Tracy Boudreaux and husband, Timmy; and twenty great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years of marriage Jo Ann Guedry; parents, John Clarence, and Lillian LeBlanc Guedry; son, Eric Guedry; two brothers; John Billy Guedry and Donald “ Duck “ Guedry.
