John Lambert Jr.

John J.H. Hudgen Lambert, Jr. passed away at his home in Gonzales, LA on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. at the age of 85. He was in the LA National Guard and retired as a Payroll Clerk from Kaiser Aluminum Gramercy. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 42021 LA 621, Gonzales, LA 70737, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., conducted by Father Rubin Reynolds. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Interment is to follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife, Iris Bourgeois Lambert two sons, Keith Lambert and Karl Lambert and wife, Melanie sister, Betty Blanchard and husband, Joe grandchildren, Alan and wife, Kim, Garrett, Galen Lambert, John Goudeau and fianc, Laura, Felix and wife, Tara, Jason Verdigets and wife, Melissa and eight greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hudgen and Bertha Lambert. Pallbearers will be Alan Lambert, Garrett Lambert, Galen Lambert, John Goudeau, Jeff Lambert and David Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Lambert, Karl Lambert, Felix Verdigets and Jason Verdigets. Special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and Comfort Keepers, especially William Spencer and Cierra Edwards.
