Joe Hoyt, age 62, passed away peacefully after a battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, May 11, 2018 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, at 7:47 p.m. A resident of Slaughter, LA and native of Alexandria, LA. He was retired from Dykes Electric. Visiting at Magnolia Christian Assembly, 16425 Magnolia Bridge Rd. and Wax Rd., Greenwell Springs, LA on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Keith Bernard. Burial at Felder Cemetery, Denham Springs, LA. Everyone is invited to return to the church after the burial for fellowship and a meal. Survived by his wife, Nannette Hoyt; sister, Andi Abraham; brother, Sam "Breck" Hoyt; adoring nieces and nephews; and his loving Boston Terrier, Mango Bess.
