Jimmie A. Templet a resident and native of Gonzales, LA. passed away at 12:25am Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. He was 78 years old. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, Oct.7, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm Tuesday. Visiting will be at First Baptist Church on Wednesday from 9 am until service at 11 am. conducted by Bro. Jeremy Starnes. Interment at Lusk Cemetery. Survivors: 2 daughters Rita Templet, Peggy Templet Deleon and husband Marcelo. 1 son Kenneth L. Templet and wife Cianna 1 sister Jackie Laiche and husband Bryan Brothers: Stanley Templet and wife Ann, Jerry Templet and wife Winnie, George Templet and wife Barbara. 2 grandchildren Natasha Irving and Brooke Babin. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years Pat Templet Parents: Mother Regina Templet Babin and father, Charles I. Templet, sister: Gladys Logarbo, brother: Charles I.
