Jeffrey 55 years old of Jack, Alabama, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his devoted colleagues on June 1, 2026.

He was born on Wednesday, September 2, 1970, to the late Jimmy Owens and late Mary Hardy Flowers. After completing school, he moved to Louisiana where he started his welding career which he continued for the remainder of his life.

Jeff was a true example of loving people through acts of service. He was a dedicated, father, grandfather, brother and son. He was devoted to his fiancé and cherished their life traveling together. If you knew Jeff, you knew he was more than just a pretty face. In his off time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being in nature, and experiencing life. He loved to make everyone laugh. He loved a crawfish boil, his LSU tigers, and he loved his yorky-poo, Alaska.


He is proceeded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Mary and his sister Regina Kaye Rushing. He is survived by his loving daughter, Hilary Kingsley (Alex Kingsley), his sisters, Janet Grissett (Jerry Grissett), Vicki Brown, his grandsons Jaxon Vass and Reid Kingsley, his fiancé (Crystal Christian) and Amelia and Grant B. who brought great joy to his life. He also leaves behind multiple beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends. The family would like to especially thank Pittsburgh Tank and Tower group as well as his devoted worksite crew at the Roland Oklahoma water tower site.

Funeral services are to be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales, Louisiana with a viewing from 12 PM to 2 PM and a service starting at 2 PM. Following the service, a procession to Serenity Oak Cemetery will take place with a short graveside prayer.
