Jeannette Acosta

A resident of St. Amant, she died on November 27, 2008 at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center Mid City. She was 73. Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 beginning at 9am. Rev. Jon Kohler will celebrate the mass of Christian burial at 11am. Entombment will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Becky and Tony Cliburn of Prairieville and Vickie and Coy Daigle of Gonzales, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Audrey B. and George White, Peggy L. and David Fayward and Janice M. and Danny Schilling, brother, Jimmy Breaux, four grandchildren; Sheri Daigle of Lafayette, Starlet Daigle Girouard and husband Brad of Gonzales, and Matthew and Michael Cliburn of Prairieville and a great-grandson, Collin Michael Girouard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Breaux and Beatrice LeBlanc, brother, Ronald Breaux and her husband of fifty-two years, Gilbert Acosta.
