Born on June 4, 1929, Pops joined the Lord on March 15, 2017; he was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN and a resident of Prairieville, LA. He was a proud WWII veteran, serving in the US Navy in the Normandy Invasion. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marjorie; his son, John; his 4 brothers; and a sister. Survived by his wife, Frances; sister, Lois; two sons, Perry and wife, Chris, and Jerry and wife, Kathy; and other children, Cynthia Avrill, Allen and Mark Aucoin. Pops will be remembered fondly by his 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at The Church at St. Amant, 13423 Hwy 431, St. Amant, LA. Visiting at 10:00 a.m. until memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the WWII Foundation.org. Please visit the online guestbook.
