James Moore

Jim Moore, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Gonzales Healthcare Center. A resident of Gonzales, LA and born in Prairieville, LA on June 25, 1940. He was a retired painter. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Prairieville, LA. Survived by two daughters, Cheryl Jean Savage and husband, Troy and Tiffany Marie Gasser and husband, Scott; two sons, Kim A. Moore and wife, Becky and Devin J. Moore; four sisters, Janet Ann Michaels, Betty Lois LeBlanc, Donnie Faye Moore, and Penny Gail Jacob; two brothers, Donald Ray Moore and Gerald Darrell Moore; his caregiver, Dolores Babin; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
