James Marsh

James E. "Jimmy" Marsh passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 4:30 pm at his resident in Prairieville, LA. He was 57 years old and a mason with Hope Haven Marble and Granite.
Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA
on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Visiting Saturday from 9:00 am until service at 10:00 am conducted by
Rev. Jim May.
Interment will be at Hope Haven Prairieville Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Verna Marie Marsh; daughters, Cynthia Marie
Marsh; sisters, Cathy M. Herig, Pamela Bercegeay Jones and husband,
Paul.
Preceded in death by his parents; Edwin and Miyo Marsh.
He was a member of Victory Templet Church.
Pallbearers will be; Lonnie Marsh, Toxie Bercegeay, Michael Bercegeay, Brandon Gaspard, Brent Bercegeay, Christopher Gaspard, Matthew Aydell and Jeramiah Bercegeay.
In lieu of flowers a benefit will be held in memory of Jimmy, on his birthday, May 23, 2015 to help with medical and funeral expenses. It will be a jambalaya lunch at Lamendola's Grocery on Burnside from 11:00 am till. Donations given before the benefit can be sent to Ascension Funeral Home. Please support this cause in memory and spirit of Jimmy. We love all of you, Verna Marie and Cynthia.
