James Hickman Sr.

Jim Hickman, Sr., age 75, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 12:14 p.m. A resident of Prairieville, LA and native of Plaquemine, LA. A veteran of the United States Navy. He was the business owner of JT Hickman Sanitation and retired as a truck driver. He loved western movies, archery, fishing, and deer hunting. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Kukuihaele County Cemetery in Honokaa, Hawaii. Survived by his two sons, Kimo Hickman and Brandall Hickman; daughter, Shanalei Gautro and husband, Robert; sister, Janie Rand; and five grandchildren, Chaz, Malia, Kekoa, Leland, and Zachary.
