James Dunn, Sr.

James Glenn Dunn, Sr. of Brittany, La passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the age of 61. James was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he was a life time member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He was currently employed by FordGelatt. James is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia Ann Cloward Dunn his children, James Glenn Dunn, Jr., Rhonda May Dunn Dickey, Job Adam Dunn, and Jacob Daniel Dunn sisters, Sharon Dymond, Donna Livaudais, and Valerie Wells brothers, Daniel Dunn, and Rex Dunn and 13 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Day Sr. and Alice Geraldine Fergerson Dunn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River Street, and will resume on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, Hwy 30, Gonzales, La from 9:00 am until 10:15 am. Bishop Shane Richardson will be conducting and presiding over the service at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Hope Haven Garden of Memory.
