A retired railroad clerk for KCS Railroad for 43 years and resident of Gonzales, he died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 75, an Army veteran and native of Simmesport. Visiting at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 Burnside Ave., Gonzales, Friday, June 17, from noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Gonzales. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Myrtis LeBlanc Diaville son, Randall Randy Diaville and wife Heather, of Prairieville sister, Sybil Diaville Barbre and husband Franklin, of Simmesport three grandchildren, Adam Randall Diaville, Abby Elizabeth Diaville and Ally Katherine Diaville two nephews, a niece and three greatnieces. Preceded in death by his parents, Fulton and Hilda Diaville and fatherinlaw and motherinlaw, Windom and Julia LeBlanc. He was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church.
