alignleftA resident of Prairieville, she died on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at her home. She was 83. Visiting will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 beginning at 10:00 am. Rev. Eric Gyan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Prairieville Community Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Blair, daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Ronnie Braud, son and daughter-in-law; Barry and Rita Blair, sister, Frances Kavanaugh, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ida Wibel and her sister, Eva Fontenot Schank. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the church Altar Society.
