Iris Landry

Iris C. "Decky" Landry, age 77, born on August 18, 1940 in Sorrento, LA, passed away peacefully at her home in Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. She retired after 26 years as a secretary at East Ascension High School. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark Catholic Church, 42021 Hwy. 621, Gonzales, LA on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Father Rubin Reynolds. Entombment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales. Survived by her husband, Joseph S. Landry Jr.; daughter, Kelly Landry Acree and husband, J. Mark; son, Luke Nathan Landry Sr. and wife, Brenda; sister, Anetha Diamond and husband, Harry; sister-in-law, Jane Lambert; brothers, Albert Lambert and Henry Medric Lambert III and wife, Nancy; and two grandchildren, Luke Nathan Landry Jr. and Cody Babin. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry Medric Jr. and Nora Lambert; two sisters, Mary Jane Gautreau and husband, Allen, and Marjorie Lee Lambert; sister-in-law, Betty Lambert; and a brother, Daniel Lambert Sr. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
