A retired clerk with Carville Grocery Store and a resident of Gonzales, she died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge. She was 94 and a native of Dutchtown. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 La. 73, Prairieville, on Friday, July 1, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Prairieville Community Cemetery. Survived by her adopted family, Solly and Louise Boudreaux, Grace Marchand, Gloria White, C.J. and Mamie Boudreaux and Celia and Harold Champton. She was a member of the Prairieville Ladies Altar Society, Prairieville Cemetery Association and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Theresa of Avila Court 1955. Preceded in death by her parents, Euariste and Palmire Braud LeBlanc brothers, Aston Buck LeBlanc and Delmane Billy LeBlanc half brother, Alvin LeBlanc and half sister, Loney Johnson. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking trips with various organizations, playing cards and bingo, crocheting, making rosaries, puzzles and growing flowers.
