Inez Marie Villar

Inez Marie Rabalais Villar, 79 passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake of Baton Rouge. She was a resident of French Settlement, LA and a native of Simmesport, LA. She was a retired school bus aide for the Louisiana School for the Deaf and Blind. She also worked as a care giver for COEA for twenty years. She loved working in her flower beds, spending time with her family, watching game shows, and serving others. She is survived by her four children Angela Wade, Ricky Villar, Sonya Martin and husband Keith Martin, Keri Sims and husband Casey Sims. Ten grandchildren Michael Wade, Jodi Wade, John Villar, Katey Hughes, Chelsea Villar, Keith Martin Jr., Justin Martin, Kaleb Sims, Casen Sims, and Kolby Sims. Thirteen great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Ona Rabalais, her husband, Richard Villar, her son, John Villar, her brother Cecil Rabalais, and her grandson Ricky Pone. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home Thursday, July 2, 2026. Viewing from 9-11, service at 11 and graveside immediately following.
