Harriet Ann Parrott Ardoin

Harriet Ann Parrott Ardoin was born November 13, 1930, in Eunice, LA. She passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Stagg Parrott and Culberta Baker Parrott; brothers, William, Richard, and John (Jack); sister, Betty; two infant sons, Shawn Dale Ardoin and Dominy Dale Ardoin; and daughter-in-law Carolyn Sonnier Ardoin.

Harriet is survived by her husband of 70 years, Eugene Dale Ardoin; 3 sons, Dana Dale Ardoin, Ashley Dale Ardoin and Cy Dale Ardoin; 5 daughters Jolene Ann Ardoin, Simone Ann Ardoin, Noel Ann Ardoin, Julie Ann Ardoin, and Eugenie Ann Ardoin; daughter-in-law, Sandra Swint Ardoin; sons-in-law, Blaine E. Ardoin and Joseph Deutsch; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and brother, Blair Parrott.

After completing her education, Harriet ran the laboratory for Calcasieu Hospital in Lake Charles followed by the laboratory for Savoy Memorial Hospital in Mamou. After her marriage, she began a new career, motherhood. Gene and Harriet lived in Eunice, LA and moved to Burnside, LA in 2000 to be closer to immediate family.

A private visitation will be held at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales.

Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
