A native of Brittany, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Hospice of Baton Rouge at 9:30 a.m. He was 67 years old. A retired Iron Worker and an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, Gonzales, LA on Thursday, June 13, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Edward W. Bledsoe. Interment at New River Baptist Cemetery, St. Amant, LA. Survived by four sisters: Mary Jane Delatte and husband, Lloyd, Eleanor Madere and husband, Dale, Regina Roper and husband, Alfred, and Anna Lobell and husband, Clayton one brother, Denver Hurst and numerous nieces and nephews.
