Georgia Gi Gi Atherton passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home. She was 78. A former resident of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Livingston, LA, and native of New Orleans, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, Gonzales, LA on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until service at 12 noon conducted by Chaplain Dale Delaune. Burial at Colyell Community Cemetery. Survived by daughters and sonsinlaw: Anita and Lawrence Helg, Jr. and Pamela and Elmer Habisreitinger son, John B. Teal, Jr. brother, Tony Atherton and partner, Forest ten grandchildren including: Tony Helg and wife, Jessica, John Helg and wife, Kimberly, Junior Helg and wife, Candice, Anita Molea and husband, Victor 11 great grandchildren: Garrett and Blayson Helg, Destiny and Khloe Durgapersad, Shelby and Macie Molea, and Lily, Wyatt, Kade, Noah, and Dakota Helg.
