George Guedry

Samuel G. Sam Guedry passed away at 7:23 pm, Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at home. He was 70 years old. He was a retired sheetmetal worker with Ascension Sheetmetal. He was an avid fisherman. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Rev. Michael Galea. Burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Survived by wife, Carol Painter Guedry three sons and daughtersinlaw Craig Magoo Guedry and friend, Dena Edmonston, Todd P. and Kathleen Prochaska Guedry, Kenny M. and Theresa Taylor Guedry one sister, Delores Babin three brothers: Lionel Guedry, John Gabe Guedry and wife Noradean Lambert, Lamar Tut Guedry and wife, Gloria Frederic eight grandchildren: Jordan, Brennan, Amanda, Bailey, Sarah, Kirsten, Luke and Seth Guedry. Preceded in death by parents, George and Julian Guedry brother, Rufus Guedry brotherinlaw, Robert Boo Babin sisterinlaw, Marlene Smith Guedry. Pallbearers will be Richard Guedry, Brent Guedry, Jodie Guedry, Kevin Gautreau, Rafe Gautreau and Neff Villenurve. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
