George Cox Sr.

George Lee Cox Sr. passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:11 am at his home in Prairieville, LA. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and 62 years old. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family in Grand Isle. He was a member of Baton Rouge 3rd Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.A private memorial service will be held.
Survived by his wife, Esther C. Cox; four daughters, Tina M. Coleman, Robin R. White, Georgena L. Cox and Lillian E. Cox; seven sons, George L. Cox Jr., Christopher J. Cox, Robert Lee Cox, Raymond C. Cox, Nickolas C. Cox, Gary M. Cox and Matthew P. Cox; one sister, Lillian C. Orgeron; two brothers, Melvin R. Cox and Rodger D. Cox; twenty five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, George F. and Ethel H. Cox; sisters, Patricia C. Williams and Robin G. Cox.
