George Butler Jr.

George Travis Butler Jr., age 70, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 10:25 a.m. He retired as a mechanical engineer, was a resident of Prairieville, LA and native of Port Allen, LA. Survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Butler; two daughters, Jennifer Matassa Jones and husband, Matthew and Stephanie Myshrall and husband, Dustin; two sons, Trey Matassa, and Andrew Butler and wife, Lacy; two sisters, Sunny Bonaventure and Barbara-Jean Creasy; ten grandchildren, Ashton Jones, Mahalie Matassa, Jack Jones, Mark Matassa, Matthew Matassa, Major Matassa, Lily Myshrall, Alexander Butler, and Jacob Myshrall; and four nieces, Kelly Blouin Frank, Liz Blouin Street, Tracy Blouin Urdiales, and Jamie Blouin Calloway. Preceded in death by his parents, George Travis and Nell Williams Butler; his best friend and brother-in-law, Paul Richardson; and his best friend, Blu Butler. Please sign the online guestbook.
