Gary Roger Sutter

Gary Roger Sutter, age 69, died on October 21, 2012 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, Gary graduated from the University of Wyoming with a PhD in Physics. Upon retiring as a geophysicist from Shell Oil in New Orleans, he taught at the New Orleans Science and Math High School, Grantham University and ITT Technical Institute in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife, Connie daughters, April Blanchard and Michelle Clement sonsinlaw, Bobby Blanchard, Jr. and Alden Clement, Jr. four grandchildren, Paul, Gabrielle, Chloe and Piper sister, Cheryl McIntyre seven nieces and one nephew. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. The Sutter family would like to thank Dr. Brooks, the staff at Ochsner Health Center and St. Joseph Hospice for the loving care they provided.
