Gabrielle Alice Richoux

Gabrielle Alice Richoux, age 13, passed away on July 21, 2026. Born on November 17, 2012, Gabrielle brought love, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will last forever.

Gabrielle was a sweet, caring old soul who was full of life. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a way of making others feel loved and valued. She cherished her family and friends and found happiness in the simple moments spent with the people she loved most.

Gabrielle had a deep love for music. She played the clarinet and was learning to play the guitar, finding joy and comfort through the songs she played and the music she shared with others.

She also had a wonderful love for reading. Gabrielle could often be found with a book in her hands, exploring new stories and worlds through the pages she read. She loved visiting the library and bookstores, and she was always finding creative ways to earn money so she could buy more books. Her love of reading reflected her curious mind, imagination, and the beautiful way she saw the world.

Gabrielle is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her mother, Amanda Bruner and stepfather, Caleb Bruner; her father, Gary Richoux II and stepmother, Katelyn Richoux; her brother, Joshua Richoux, sister-in-law Autumn Cygielnik; her sister, Morgan Richoux; her stepsister, Alyssa Bruner; her stepbrother, Cameron Finn; along with extended family and many friends whose lives she touched.

Although words cannot express the depth of our loss, we find comfort in the memories of Gabrielle’s kindness, her beautiful smile, her love for music and books, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

Gabrielle’s time on this earth was precious, and she will continue to be loved beyond measure. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Pompeii Cemetery, LA-442, Tickfaw, LA.
