A retired analyst and a resident of Gonzales, he died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at his home. He was 84 and a native of Verdenville. Zim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Visiting will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Saturday, Jan. 8, from 11 a.m. until chapel service at 1 p.m., conducted by Deacon Thomas Labat. Entombment in Hope Haven Garden of Memories, Gonzales. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lillie Joyce a daughter, Pamela K. Tullier and husband Vernon a son, Ricky Zimmerman Sr. and wife Margaret a sister, Doris Simoneaux four grandchildren, Ricky Zimmerman Jr. and wife Arlinda, Lucas Zimmerman, Benjamin Tullier and wife Karissa, and Kristian Tullier and five greatgrandchildren, Avery White, William Zimmerman, Kaitlyn Tullier, Ashlyn Tullier and Zoe Zimmerman.
