Ernest Braud

A resident of Gonzales, LA, he died on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Gonzales Healthcare. He was 84. He was a Navy WWII Veteran. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home from 12 noon Monday, May 24, 2010 until service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, La. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Celine M. Braud Daughter, Mona Lafoon and husband Aubrey of Bentley, La Son, Ricky Braud and wife Beth of Zachary, La. 3 sisters, Miriam Elam, Viola Bryson, Mattie Elisar Brother, Stafford Braud 5 Grandchildren, Harlan and Monica Lafoon, Ricky, Lauren and Devyn Braud 4 Great grandchildren, Avery and Logan Lafoon and Jaiden and Audrianna Alzeyoud He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Nora Braud and sister Geneva Peters.
