A homemaker and caregiver, she died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 92, a resident of Gonzales and native of Jeanerette. Visiting at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave., Gonzales, on Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 11:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gary Belsome, celebrant. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her three daughters, Kathryn Morin and husband Wayne, Mary Beth Becky Harris and Rhonda McDermand son, Pat Gautreau and wife Catherine Cat sisterinlaw, Mae Gautreau 11 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren and seven greatgreatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Harvey Gautreau parents, two sisters, two brothers and a granddaughter. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She was a charter member of the St. Rose de Lima Court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for 50 years. In her spare time, she loved needle pointing, reading and especially playing bingo.
