Emily Gautreau

Emily Rogers Gautreau, passed away peacefully at the age of 73, on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 7:16 p.m. at Old Jefferson Community Care Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a resident of St. Gabriel, LA and native of Baker, LA and retired from Bell South. Visiting at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. Charlie Landry. Burial in the church mausoleum. Survived by her brother, Gordon L. Rogers and wife, Kay; sister, Nancy "Betty" Babin; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth R. Amos, Stephen E. Gautreau, Nancy G. Carlos, Amy G. Butler, and G. Keith Gautreau; and a dear friend, Ronald "Ronnie" Rome. Preceded in death by her parents, Stephen W. Rogers and Nannie E. Rogers; husband, Arthur E. "Buddy" Gautreau; and a niece, Katherine "Kitty" Rogers Chatelain. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.
