Elwood Gautreau

Elwood J. "Tom" Gautreau, age 90, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 3:42 a.m. at Jefferson Manor in Baton Rouge, LA. A native and resident of Prairieville, LA, and retired from Baton Rouge Beer Agency. He was an U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Billy Minyard. Burial at Prairieville Community Cemetery. Survived by his sons, Greg D. Gautreau and Dana J. Gautreau; brother, C. P. "Bean" Gautreaux; five grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen V.
