Eleen Ambeau

A resident of Gonzales and native of Jackson, MS, she died on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was 89. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. John the Evanglist Catholic Church in Prairieville beginning at 12 noon. Rev. Gary Belsome will celebrate a mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Interment will follow in Prairieville Community Cemetery. She is survived by her four children; Mary West-Winters, Robert Ambeau, John David Ambeau and Phyllis Roy, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip George and Mary Elizabeth Hartman, her husband of 62 years, Milton J. M.J. Ambeau, Jr., twin sister, Elsie Hartman.
