Upon graduation from Holly Bluff High School, Eldon enlisted in the United States Army. During his 22 year army career, he was in the 7th Cavalry Regiment and worked with The Army Security Agency. The military took him around the world to Korea, Alaska (pre-statehood), Germany, France, Japan, Turkey and Taiwan. Eldon loved his family above all else and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all.
