Visitation on Wednesday, June 4, 2013 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA. Survivors: husband Mervin P. Young, 3 daughters: Rhonda Parrish, Deborah Reyes and husband Antonio, Loria Capton and husband Rick, 2 stepdaughters: Cathy Dunnaway and husband Rick, Milinda Dixon and husband Ronnie, 2 step sons: Kenneth Young and wife Karen, Mervin Young, Jr. and wife Rhonda. 5 sisters: Diane Hinton, Rosie Nieme and husband Charles, Jean Tew and husband Jim, Helen Mc Cardle and husband Glenn, Bettie Hinton, brother: Frank Hinton. 16 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death: 2 sons Bruce Mark Davis and Phil Carman Davis. Brother: David Hinton
