Edmond Vicknair

Edmond Joseph (E.J.) Vicknair, 88 years old, passed away on June 26, 2023, at Ascension Oaks Nursing Home in Gonzales. He was born September 3, 1934, in Maurepas.

E.J. is survived by his daughter, Karen V. Duplessis and husband, Gary; son, Kenneth J. Vicknair; grandchildren, Lakin, and Peyton Duplessis; sisters, Shirley Vicknair and Myrtle Jennings; brother, Mervyn Vicknair; friend, Robert Boudreaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lelia R. Vicknair; father, Edmond N. Vicknair; brothers, Alton J. Vicknair and Charles J. Vicknair; first wife, Mary Ellen Avants; second wife, Diane Lineske; and third wife, Barbara Parent.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, 2023, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Maurepas, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in the church. Burial will follow at White Hall Community Cemetery.
