Edith Barber

A resident of Gonzales and native of Jamestown , New York , she died early Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Gonzales Health Care Center. She was 87. She worked at Neese Industries in Gonzales for over 30 years. She is survived by her son, Douglas Brian Barber of Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron G. Barber and her parents, Victor and Hallie Wilson. As per her wishes, private graveside service will be held in Mississippi . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the cancer research charity of your choice or to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
