Eddie Badeaux

Eddie Joseph Badeaux, 91, of Prairieville, and a native of Garyville, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Carpenter House. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, Gonzales, on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial in Carpenter's Chapel Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Ravanel Took Badeaux; Diane Badeaux, Bert and Janet Verdigets and Sid and Ann Badeaux; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Septine and Angelique Badeaux; six siblings; son, Larry; and great-grandson, Brendan Foster Verdigets. He was a retired area foreman for Dixie Gas and a member of Ascension Mental Health Board for 18 years.
