Duane Alexander Barclay, Sr.

Duane Alexander Barclay, Sr. passed away on May 7, 2023, at 9:31 AM, in Darrow, LA. He was a native of Royalton, IL and a resident of Clarkson, KY. He was 59 years old, and he was a longshoreman by Hall Buck Marine.

Visitation will take place at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, beginning at 9:30 AM until services at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow at Cornerview Cemetery.

 Duane was survived by his wife, Christie Barclay; daughter, Lacey Love (Jason); sons, Duane Barclay, Jr. (Tanya), and Zachary Barclay; sister, Robbin Anderson; three grandchildren, Tayte Love, Layla Love, and Kase Barclay; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Gwen Barclay; sister, Pamela Barclay; and brothers, Brian Barclay, Eric Barclay, and Daniel Barclay.
