Born and blessed on April 12, 1929 to Hugh and Eunice Poe of Eros.

A resident of Gonzales, she died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the age of 79. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 6pm until 9pm. Visitation on Monday, February 18 will be held at Ascension Funeral Home, from 9am until 10am. Services conducted by Reverend Elbert Feske will follow at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glynn Jumonville; three daughters: Deborah Jumonville Bray and husband, Wesley Bray; Linda Jumonville formerly married to Karl Babin; Mona Lisa Jumonville Ellis and husband, Michael Ellis; four grandchildren Matthew Bray, Eric Babin, Brooke Babin and Kristy Ellis. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Maxine and Lon Session, Mary and Charles Halloway, Sharon and Benton Fowler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by numerous sisters and brothers. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Special heartfelt thanks are extended to Larry Jumonville, Lynn and Patsy Jumonville along with all member sof the Jumonville Bakery, Lydia Hambrick, Nathan Bergeron and neighbor, Naomi Lantry.
