Diane Blount

A resident of Prairieville, she died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at The Carpenter House. She was 54 and a native of PIneville. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, La Saturday, Jan. 28, from 6pm to 9 pm. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 29 from 11am to 1 pm until chapel service at 1 pm. Interment in Blount C emetery, Satsuma. Survived by her loving Husband of 12 years Kenneth Michael Blount her mother Nevelyn Armand Deschense a daughter Ashley Dawn Weaver and husband Kerry 3 sons: Michael W. Cole and wife Kelly 5 grandchildren: Desiree Cole, Holly Nichols, Maison Cole, Taylor Weaver and Destiny Weaver sisterinlaw Pamela Glenmeyer. Preceded in death by father Buford Armand sister Gaijl Ann Blount stepfather Ronald Deschense, motherinlaw fatherinlaw Kenneth and Betty Blount. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and doing Notary work.
