David Stanga

November 7, 1960 — September 4, 2017

David Gerard Stanga fell asleep on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10:36 p.m., at his home, then immediately joined the holy angels in glory giving honor and worship to Him that liveth forever and ever! "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." David is reunited with his daughter Tara and his sugar love, Audrey. David loved his kids, work, cooking, and serving the Lord. David loved all people! He was a true people person and very much loved by so many. He was a master butcher and former meat market manager of National Supermarket stores for 15 years. He was owner of Mr. David's Specialty Meats in Denham Springs, LA. He enjoyed teaching his trade to anyone and was very quick in giving away his 40 years of experience/knowledge to anyone in the business. David's smile was infectious and was known as a very gentle and humble man. He will be sorely missed and remembered for many years to come. He was 56 years old, born on November 7, 1960 in Hammond, LA and a resident of Port Allen, LA. He graduated from Hammond High School and studied Theology at Jimmy Swaggart Bible College and Seminary (WEBC). He was a member, deacon, and usher at Family Worship Center.
