Darla Vicknair

Darla Kay Vicknair, age 60, passed away at her home in La Place, LA on Friday, November 15, 2019. She was born on October 13, 1959 in Baton Rouge, LA. She had worked in previous years as a medical transcriptionist at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. When living in Gonzales, she attended Household of Faith and served on the worship team for 18 years. Inurnment service on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Larry Ficklin, in Ficklin Cemetery, Prairieville, LA. Survived by her stepmother, Thelma Vicknair; twin sister, Carla V. Clark and husband, Richard; sister, Susan Wilson and husband, Ernie; and five brothers, Emory Ficklin and wife, Belinda, Chris Ficklin, Doyle Rushing, Darrell Rushing and wife, Janis, and Darrin Rushing and wife, Joanie.
