Curtis Causey, Jr.

Curtis “Butch” Causey, Jr., a resident of St. Amant, passed away in Baton Rouge on March 25, 2023, at the age of 77.

Butch served our country in the United States Marine Corp.

He leaves behind his wife, Mattie Sue Causey; daughter, Amber Blair Causey; 3 granddaughters, Makaila, Courtlyn, and Bryleigh; great-granddaughter, Everlynn; and sister, Joyce C. Breaux.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth L. Mackey; father, Curtis L. Causey, Sr.; brother, Louis Causey; sister, Betty C. Hymel; brother-in-law, Charles Black Breaux; and brother-in-law, Leroy F. Hymel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lusk Cemetery.
