Constance Vavasseur

A resident of Carville, she died late Saturday, March 13, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. She was 57. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 4pm until 8pm at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mission Chapel, located in the Gillis W. Long Center at 5445 Pointe Claire Road in Carville. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning at 9am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Gabriel. Rev. Charles Landry will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at 11am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by husband Anthony Tony Vavasseur, St. Gabriel two daughters Heather Fraley and husband Lee, of Lake Martin, Hilary Adams and husband Darian of Livingston six grandchildren, Kristin, Taylor, Justin, Kimberly, Kayln and Hunter, one great grandchild, Brayden, two brothers Bobby Denny and wife Flo of French Settlement, Benton Martin and wife Pam of St. Gabriel, three sisters Evelyn Villar, St. Gabriel, Gloria Wilson and husband Conrad of Baton Rouge, Janine M. Campbell and husband Neil of Baton Rouge.
