Charles Alvin Wilcox, age 84, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA. He was born in Knight, LA on March 12, 1932 and a former resident of Lumberton, TX. He retired as a Real Estate Realtor. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. A graveside service will be on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Weimar Masonic Cemetery, in Weimar, TX. Survived by his brother, Herman Wilcox; grandchildren, Lena Roussel, Melinda Hodge, Ricky Provost, Zae Bear, Adam Castellow, Jonah Castellow, and Erick Castellow; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Dahse Wilcox; son, Floyd Wayne Castellow; daughter, Sandra Lynn Parsley; sister, Pauline Wilcox Firestone; and brothers, Alton Wilcox and A. J. Wilcox.
