Charles "Fish" Barker

Charles “Fish” Edgar Barker, Sr., passed away February 19, 2022, at the age of 76. He was born on September 13, 1945, in White Castle.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Barker, sons, Charlie Barker (Terre), and Steve Barker (Dawn), daughter Leslie Robertson (Tom), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Jack Barker and Tony Barker, and sisters, Myrtle Ann Collins and JoAnn Collins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Barker, father, Leonard Barker, brothers, David Barker, John “Buck” Barker, James Barker, Robert Barker, and Joseph Barker.

Pallbearers will be Charles Barker, Jr., Steve Barker, Cody Barker, Nicholas Robertson, Robert Barker, Jr., and Jack Barker.

Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales, on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 9:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Galvez Public Cemetery.
