Carol Kay Burge Goodrich met her beloved Saviour May 23, 2018. She was the epitome of a Godly woman and was adored by family, friends and all that knew her. She was born in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Harry Wilfred Burge and Beth Doris Hanson and grew up in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Alcee Fortier Sr. High School and Soule Business College. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Dave Smith. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Alton Goodrich Jr.; son, Bert Franklin Goodrich II; and grandson, Ray Alton Goodrich IV. She is survived by 5 children, Ray Alton III (Nina), Dale Burge Sr. (Hope), Beth Lane Hopkins, Brad Perrin Sr., and Heather Kay Karp (Nathan); grandchildren, Patti Jo (Ray Alton IV), Kay Case Schenk (Ryan), Dale Burge II (Kelley), Brooke Yvette, Joshua Dale (Lauren), Claire Elise, Drew Edward (Cynthia), Lane Josiah, Brianna Nicole, Brad Perrin II, Ashton Ray, and Grace Elizabeth Goodrich, Abbey Michelle and Jewel Lane Hopkins, Solomon Joseph and Sarah Kaylin Karp; and great-grandchildren, Allysa Jo, Victoria Anne, Ray Alton V, Dale Burge III, and Ryleigh Blake Goodrich, Kinley Charlotte Hoffman, Evan Joseph, Caleb Davis, and Maggie Joelle Schenk, and Emery Alexandra Williams.
