Carla V. Lowe, age 54, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 2:45 p.m. A resident and native of Head of Island, LA. Visiting at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 Hwy. 16, French Settlement, LA on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon conducted by Rev. Jason P. Palermo. Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Head of Island, LA. Survived by her best friend ever, Wesley Henry; three sisters, Elizabeth Murphy and husband, Gary "Murf", Sandra Rogers, and Dianne Vicknair; brother, Sherman Vicknair and companion, Jeanette Smyers; and her godmother, Corine Guitreau. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Vicknair; and her sister, Deloris Aucoin. She was of the Catholic faith. We will miss hearing her say her favorite saying, "Whatever."
