Bobbie Ann Lambert, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Sterling Place in Baton Rouge, LA at 7:28 a.m. A native of Sorrento, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA. She retired as Vice President at Union Planters (Regions) Bank. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Deacon Jerry W. Braud. Entombment at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, St. Amant, LA. Survived by her longtime companion, Gary Byers; brother, Coral "C.J." Lambert and wife, Phyllis; and cousins, Gloria Hernandez and husband, Harry, and Irma Landry and preceded by husband, Bobby; nephews and nieces, Marty Lambert, Tim Lambert, Beverly Borne, Cindy Griner, Andrea Kling, Melanie King, Scott Lambert, Larissa Ryan, Kimberly Cummings, Matthew C. Lambert, David Reid Lambert, and Troy Lambert. Preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow P. and Laura G. Lambert; brothers, Howard, Harris Paul, and James Lambert; nephew, Brent Lambert; nannie, Celuta Guedry; and uncle, Sanders Guedry. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento, LA.
