Blair Butler

Blair E. Butler passed away at his Baton Rouge home on January 25th of natural causes. He was born on August 29, 1960 and was 58 years old. He was a 1978 graduate of Belaire High School and attended LSU. Blair is best known for his friendly, engaging personality, infectious smile and natural strength and athleticism. He developed many lifelong friends and was loved by everyone he met. Blair was an avid sports fan, and his greatest passions were his sons, good southern cooking, and being on the water. Blair is survived by his loving sons, Austin Butler (wife, Sarah) of Houston and Zack Butler of Ruston; sister, Melanie Vannoy (husband, Mike) of Mandeville; and brother, Brian Butler (wife, Faye) of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends, whom he loved dearly. Blair was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Moise Butler and Dewey W. Butler; paternal grandparents, Helen Butler Liuzza and Collie C. Butler; and maternal grandparents, Mildred Yost Bruce and Harry E. Moise. Please visit the online guestbook.
